Due to the problem that arose in the Municipality of Mogán due to the shortage of water supply to supply the population, as a consequence of the lack of precipitations that produce a decrease in the quantities and qualities of water from existing wells and tastings that supply The net, it becomes necessary to desalinate sea water. Therefore, in order to guarantee the supply of water supply to the population and residents in conditions of quantity and quality required, it is essential to provide the municipality with a seawater desalination plant or station (also referred to as EDAM) .
Taking into account the circumstances of the situation of the project has had to realize the plant in different containers without possibility of performing any civil works of great magnitude. This design is exclusive to inexa and makes us pointers for the realization of modular plants in any space and location.
The current laundry demand corresponds to approximately 70 m3 / d, although it is expected to reach a demand of 200 m3 / d due to the increased washing capacity of the industry. Likewise, the final customer prefers to operate the installation during period 6 or valley hours in order to save on energy costs. For this reason the final capacity chosen for the desalination plant corresponds to 600 m3 / d.
